Webdesign Viewport Size at 1024×768 Resolution

I’ve measured the exact viewport size in fullscreen window at 1024×768 screen resolution in OS Windows browsers. The results [in pixels] follow:

|——————————–
| Windows XP |||
|——————————–
| Browser | Maximized window | Fullscreen mode |
| IE 7 | 1003×619 | 1007×745 |
| Firefox 3.5 | 1024×576 | 1024×762 |
| Opera 9 | 1023×599 | 1024×768 |
| Chrome 3 | 1024×675 | 1024×768 |
|——————————–
| Windows 7 |||
|——————————–
| IE 8 | 1020×583 | 1024×745 |
| Firefox 3.5 | 1024×573 | 1024×762 |
| Opera 10 | 1024×600 | 1024×768 |
| Chrome 3 | 1024×611 | 1024×768 |
|——————————–

Note: Sizes were measured by Javascript using jQuery’s `$(window).width` and `$(window).height` methods.
